Available configurations

Choose a Mac mini M4 rental plan for your workload

Both plans are dedicated physical Apple Silicon cloud Macs. Each order corresponds to a separate device with no shared compute resources, and neither plan is a virtual machine.

Choose a daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly term. Enable short-term fixes, signing checks, and temporary builds by the day; schedule ongoing development, Runner queues, and longer experiments by the week, month, or quarter.

Choose the model based on memory and parallelism first, then select storage expansion based on project data volume. Locations, connection details, and live availability are returned by the console.

Check device resources before choosing a term

Both plans use the same-generation M4 chip; the main differences are memory and base storage. Network parameters are not guaranteed uniformly across locations and should be verified in the device delivery details.

Configuration limits:This page lists only the two configurations currently available. 1TB and 2TB are additional SSD capacities, not a third base model; Thunderbolt 5 pairing is billed per participating device.

Choose by workload

Don’t choose a configuration by task name alone

Even for the same iOS build, dependency size, parallel processes, simulator usage, and caching strategy can change memory requirements. Check peak resource usage first, then consider task duration.

A1

Light builds and short tasks

For single-repository fixes, certificate checks, one-off archives, script validation, or short macOS command-line tasks, choose DeployMini M4 16. Its 16GB of memory suits standard workflows with controlled parallelism, while the 256GB SSD requires regular cleanup of unnecessary caches and old artifacts.

A2

Everyday development and parallel builds

When running Xcode, dependency installation, tests, and multiple build processes simultaneously, choose DeployMini M4 24. The extra memory provides more stable headroom for parallel tasks, while the 512GB SSD is better suited to dependency caches and multiple sets of build artifacts.

Recommended configuration DeployMini M4 24
A3

Large-model inference validation

First check model size, runtime memory, quantization method, and input-data volume. DeployMini M4 24 is the preferred choice for inference experiments; if the model, dataset, cache, and outputs require substantial disk space, add a 1TB or 2TB SSD based on actual data volume.

Recommended configuration DeployMini M4 24 + storage as needed
01 Measure peak memory

Record peak usage for the complete local task, rather than looking only at project file size.

02 Set the parallelism level

When Runners, test processes, and simulators run together, calculate their combined resource usage.

03 Estimate storage headroom

Count repositories, dependencies, caches, intermediate artifacts, and final outputs together.

04 Choose the term last

Select a day, week, month, or quarter based on your task plan; do not infer the configuration from the term.

Add-ons

Storage and device pairing are priced separately

Add-ons follow the selected rental term. Choose the base model first, then add options based on project data, cache, and paired-device requirements.

Complete term pricing for storage expansion and Thunderbolt 5 pairing
Add-on Use case Daily Weekly Monthly Quarterly
+1TB SSD For additional space for dependency caches, assets, models, or build artifacts $2.4 $6.6 $12.2 $33.2
+2TB SSD For larger datasets, audio/video assets, or retaining artifacts over longer terms $4.8 $13.2 $24.4 $66.4
Thunderbolt 5 pairing Billed per participating paired device; final delivery depends on the order configuration $1.3 $3.6 $6.7 $18.2

When to add 1TB

Choose the 1TB expansion when the base storage can hold the project but you also need room for dependency caches, multiple archives, or medium-sized assets. Include temporary files and final artifacts in your estimate before ordering.

When to add 2TB

Choose the 2TB expansion when models, video assets, batch inputs, or long-term caches clearly exceed the base capacity. Keep important data in a separate backup; never treat the rental device as the only copy.

When to choose pairing

Choose Thunderbolt 5 pairing only when your workflow explicitly requires multiple devices to work together. Billing is per device, so verify the actual number of participating devices in the order.

Locations and availability

Both configurations are available in all five locations

Singapore, Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), Hong Kong, and the US West are currently listed. Every model-and-location combination is marked as sufficient; live availability at order submission is returned by the console.

Location selection order:Compare the complete path between your team, code repository, signing service, and artifact storage first, then choose a location. Proximity is only one variable and cannot replace evaluating the actual network path.
